Riverstone was facing the ongoing costs of maintaining an ageing Oracle E-business Release 11i system, as well as the potential costs and complexities in upgrading existing customisations to R12. Riverstone made the decision to implement ERP Cloud and commissioned Claremont who undertook the implementation. Unite Students chose to work with Claremont to deliver the first stage of their Employee and Manager Self-Service project. This was part of a wider strategic programme that involved the expansion of Oracle’s R12 E-Business Suite to support a number of key business processes to provide self-service functionality to employees and managers with the ambition of providing the capability to manage much of the employee data at source. Claremont worked with Unite Students to design an accommodation booking and maintenance solution, based on Oracle’s E-Business Suite which was integrated with Unite Students’ existing back-office Oracle Financials system. This robust and scalable solution provided greater functionality, integration and efficiencies for the room booking lifecycle. In the past 14 years Barnardo’s have significantly grown their headcount, volunteers and charity shops. Barnardo’s utilises Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) to rollout self service Human Resources and recruitment. The use of a complex Position structure was time consuming and restrictive and was preventing Barnardo’s from realising the benefits of their existing HCM Implementation. Barnardo’s tasked Claremont to undertake a review of the work structure, design and implement the technical components to ensure the HCM systems would support Barnardo’s growth going forward.
