Home Group implemented Oracle E-Business to underpin their Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll processes in 2016-17, delivering significant savings to the organization in the form of process efficiencies. Home Group has forged a collaborative long-term relationship with Claremont effectively acting as an extension to the in-house team. With Claremont’s expert help, Home Group has been able both to ensure the smooth running of key business processes, but also to make enhancements to the solution when required to meet business or legislative requirements.
Claremont partnered with King's College London to migrate its Oracle databases from an end of life system. Claremont provided experienced Oracle Database Administrators across HR and Payroll stabilising and proactively managing the system while reducing their costs.
Claremont seamlessly migrated PPL from their previous Tier 1 Oracle hosting provider to Claremont’s own Hosting environment. This included Managed Services for all DBA activities, patching, upgrades, back-ups and first-line product support. PPL moved due to slow, inflexible and costly service. This move helped PPL to save half a million pounds over three years and receive more responsive service.
Suffolk County Council is a long-term user of Oracle technology, with established and mature databases supporting many of its critical systems. In the last ten years, the public sector has been subject to demanding budget cuts and Suffolk County Council has been faced with significant challenges to maintain support for critical services to the local community. In 2017, it was clear that under-supported Oracle systems required a Managed Services approach and technical support from an experienced external provider.
