Claremont Proves It Is A Great Place To Work!

World-Class Employee Net Promoter Score

Claremont is world-class!  We have always known it, and our ever-increasing unbeatable customer satisfaction scores support our delivery excellence and great customer service. 

But we now also have a world-class independently verified Employee Net Promoter Score of 93% (yes, that’s right: 93%), proving that Claremont is world-class when it comes to looking after its people as well as its customers.

An employee net promoter score is the output from the question “On a scale of 1 – 10 how likely are you to recommend Claremont as a great place to work to friends and family?”.  A score above 75% is deemed world-class.  We are blown away and humbled by our recent score of 93%!

Focus On Health And Wellbeing

In the context of the pandemic and the challenges to people’s wellbeing, we are absolutely delighted to receive such a fantastic score and amazing feedback from our people.  We have worked hard in the last 18 months to focus on the health and wellbeing of our employees and to be as supportive and flexible as we can, to help our people to manage their work/life balance/pressures in the midst of pandemic disruption.  Appreciating the importance of mental health and resilience, we have provided mental health awareness training to everyone and have enjoyed a number of wellbeing weeks - bringing people together virtually with daily activities and information shares - with themes of mindfulness, positivity, mental health awareness, and the Claremont values of delivery excellence, one team and social responsibility.

Our broad-ranging health and wellbeing initiatives have been recognised both internally, by some fantastic feedback and appreciation from our people, and externally, in the form of the Better Health at Work Silver award.

Our Values

Our career development review process links our values to career objectives via a competency framework to ensure individuals’ ambitions are aligned to those of the company.  We have also developed a mentoring programme for our identified ‘superstars’.

Investors In People Platinum

A year ago, we were reassessed for the Investors in People accreditation, which we have held at the old level since 2011.  We were delighted to be awarded the Platinum standard, the highest accreditation which is awarded to only the top 2% of the companies that IIP assesses.  To achieve the Platinum standard, organisations must demonstrate ‘high performance’ in at least seven of the nine assessment indicators, and ‘advanced’ in the other two, covering all areas of people management including Leading & Inspiring People, Empowering & Involving People, Delivering Continuous Improvement & Creating Sustainable Success.

People Award Successes

Coming on the back of our IIP Platinum accreditation, we have also enjoyed prestigious people awards successes in 2021, winning the 2021 European MSP Innovation Best Employer to Work for award, as well as the CIPD NE Excellence in SME People Practice award and CIPD NE Excellence in Leadership award.

We are also finalists in the 2021 Investors in People Employer of the Year Platinum award, a fantastic achievement, being shortlisted from a group of several hundred companies. It is great to share these award successes with our people, to demonstrate what we have achieved together.

Employee Feedback

Whilst external awards and accreditations are fantastic to receive and always welcome, by far the most important feedback we can receive is that of our own people.  We want Claremont to be a great place to work and we want our people to have a great experience.  Our recent employee survey, with its highest ever scores, confirms that our people do value the experiences they are having and the support and development they are receiving.  A number of people said they feel that they are part of the Claremont family.  Overwhelmingly our people appreciate the open and honest leadership style, the trust that ensues, and the feeling that Claremont genuinely cares about them.  Our people live the values in everything they do, every day, and as a result, deliver excellence to our customers.  Everyone’s a winner!
