For the third year running, Claremont was proud to sponsor last weekend’s Lulworth Castle 10K. With our help, this trail race raised over £5k for a fantastic local charity, the Coombe Keynes Trust.
The event was a great success, with over 300 participants, and all the running places were filled. Although it is a challenging course, the beautiful scenery, weather and support from the crowd meant that all runners and spectators had a great time.
Thank you to all that took part! There was close competition among the runners and the winner completed the 10K in a speedy 34:34, taking a huge 30 seconds off the record he set last year. For others, the racing was less intense and they simply enjoyed the challenge of competing a 10K trail run through the beautiful, private Lulworth Castle estate.
