For the third year running, Claremont was proud to sponsor last weekend’s Lulworth Castle 10K. With our help, this trail race raised over £5k for a fantastic local charity, the Coombe Keynes Trust.
The event was a great success, with over 300 participants, and all the running places were filled. Although it is a challenging course, the beautiful scenery, weather and support from the crowd meant that all runners and spectators had a great time.
Thank you to all that took part! There was close competition among the runners and the winner completed the 10K in a speedy 34:34, taking a huge 30 seconds off the record he set last year. For others, the racing was less intense and they simply enjoyed the challenge of competing a 10K trail run through the beautiful, private Lulworth Castle estate. With massive support from employees and the wider network, Claremont has been voted and recognised for putting their employees first in the Perkbox Workplace Culture Awards.
Out of the many number of companies that were invited to take part, Claremont finished in the Top 10 of those in the UK.
