Oracle Technical Development Consultant

We are looking for an Oracle Technical Development Consultant.

Role Overview

This role is within our consulting team, and within our Oracle Technology capability.  The role will require a mixture of client site (UK wide) travel and home working.

Experience and Skills

  • 3 or more years of Oracle development experience preferably in the fields of E-Business Suite or Oracle ERP/HCM cloud systems.  This would be gained either:
    • Working as part of a team implementing or upgrading an existing Oracle system
    • Extending the functionality of an existing Oracle system
  • Skills should include SQL & PL/SQL, Java, and XML-based technologies such as using SOAP/REST web services.
  • Either
    • Development experience within the E-Business Suite, to include some (but necessarily all of the following):
      • PL/SQL either in the context of concurrent programs or Workflow extensions
      • BI Publisher – build new or extend existing BI Publisher reports
      • Personalisation framework – Self-service HTML pages or Oracle Forms personalisation frameworks
      • A Framework – building or extending pages using OAF & JDeveloper
    • OR Experience with Oracle cloud-based HCM or ERP applications:
      • Reporting e.g. BI Publisher
      • Integration e.g. file-based loaders or web services
  • Engaging directly with clients and understanding requirements from a customer’s perspective.
  • Optional skills for which extra credit will be provided include Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Shell Scripts.
